MICROBIO-CRISPR Clubes de Ciencia – Cucuta, Colombia: July 8-12
Clubes de Ciencia developed science workshops in different countries of Latinoamerica (including Colombia) and Europe with the purpose of strengthening STEM education. The team led by Andres Florez (Postdoc at Garner Lab) and Laura Moreno (Professor at UFPS) were teaching fundamentals of Microbiolgy, genetic manipulation and CRISPR for regulation of gene expression in bacteria to advanced high school students in Cucuta, Colombia.
